How it plays

You run forward along three railway lanes and never stop. Trains, barriers and signals come towards you, and each one has to be avoided by changing lane, jumping or rolling underneath. Coins line the lanes and are the main thing you collect.

Runs begin slowly. After roughly half a minute the speed rises and obstacles arrive closer together, so a single late reaction ends the run. That rhythm is the whole game: a quick start, a steady climb in difficulty, and an instant restart.

Between runs, coins and keys unlock characters and upgrades. You begin as Jake, and further characters are unlocked as you keep playing. Power-ups picked up during a run, such as the hoverboard, help a run last longer.

Tips for a first session

1.

Watch the lane after next, not the obstacle in front of you. By the time a train is close, the decision should already be made.

2.

Rolling is often safer than jumping: a roll ends quickly, while a jump can leave you in the air as a new obstacle arrives.

3.

Keep a hoverboard for the faster part of a run rather than using it in the first seconds.

4.

When the speed rises, stop chasing every coin. Staying alive longer collects more in the end.

Worth knowing

—

Difficulty climbs quickly, so early runs can be very short.

—

Progress such as unlocked characters is kept by the game on Poki, not by this site.

—

The page on Poki shows advertising around and between runs.
