Blumgi Bounce

A physics basketball game with one goal per level: get the ball into the hoop. You hold to build power and release to shoot, then watch the ball bounce off walls and obstacles. It suits relaxed play alone or with a friend on the same device.

How it plays

Each level places a ball, a hoop and a set of walls and obstacles between them. Holding the input builds power, and releasing it shoots.

The ball rarely travels in a straight line. It rebounds off surfaces, so a successful shot is often a bank shot that uses the level’s shape rather than fighting it.

You can play at an easy pace, just getting the ball in, or treat each level as a search for the cleanest possible shot. A local mode lets a friend play on the same device.

Tips for a first session

1.

Start with a soft shot to see how the level’s walls send the ball back.

2.

Change one thing at a time: keep the same power and adjust your timing, or the other way round.

3.

Aim for a surface that points towards the hoop rather than at the hoop itself.

4.

In two-player mode, watch your friend’s attempt first; it shows how the level rebounds.

Worth knowing

—

Results can feel random until you learn how the ball rebounds.

—

There is no time pressure, which makes it one of the calmer games in this catalogue.

—

Two-player mode is local only; both players share one screen.
